Jammu Police arrested a man for issuing fake registrationslip to Amarnath pilgrim, here.
Police spokesman said that a complaint was lodged onWednesday by one Parmod Kumar Patra, resident of Udayagiri, Kandhamal, Odishaat Police Station Nowabad that the registration slip for Shri Amarnath Yatrawhich had been issued to him appeared to be fake following which a case wasregistered and investigation started.
He added that acting on the statements of witnesses andleads developed during investigation, it was found that one person namedSanjeev Sharma of Shanti Nagar, Jammu, was involved in issuing fakeregistration slips to unsuspecting Yatris.
